God does NOT want us to be found standing with sinners or sitting with scoffers, and so Advises us NOT to walk in their counsel.
Unbelievers have a lot of counsel to give.
It is most pitiful, however, for Children of God who are faced with problems to seek that counsel.
What they counsel is what you CANNOT do.
