Our Mind

By the outward man being broken we do not mean to say that our mind is so destroyed that we can no longer think.

It only means that we will no longer think in and of ourselves nor will we be occupied with external matters.

After the wisdom of the wise is destroyed and the understanding of the prudent is brought to nothing, then our mind becomes a usable instrument for it ceases to be our life and and master.
