The Father Loves us So, that With Him our Real and Abiding Profit is His First Object, but He does NOT forget to Comfort too.
When He Comforts it is that He may Turn the bleeding heart to Himself to Receive the Blessing in Fellowship with Him;
When He refuses Comfort, His Object is still the same.
How much of our prayer is vague and pointless?
To all of us, the Lord Asks,
What is it you really want and expect me to do?
If you have never Laid Down your will and Surrender to God with Single-Mindedness, if you have never Cast Aside what you treasure most and Denied what you like best, it is futile for you to think of Walking in the Way of Obedience.

The husbands: love your own wives, as the Christ also loved the Assembly, and gave Himself for it, that He might sanctify it, having cleansed [it] with the bathing of the water in the saying, that He might present the Assembly to Himself in glory, having no spot or wrinkle, or any of such things, but that it may be holy and unblemished; so ought the husbands to love their own wives as their own bodies: he who is loving his own wife—he loves himself; for no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and nurtures it, as also the LORD—the Assembly, because we are members of His body, [[of His flesh, and of His bones.]]

In the Sphere of Divine Purpose there are not many individual vessels, but One Vessel.
God Created One Eve, not many men.
Without Christ, I do not possess life; without the Church His Body, I have not the means to Live the Life I Possess as it Should Be Lived.
The Water of Life and the Cleansing Word are needed to Prepare the Church for Presentation to Christ in Glory.
For now there are defects to be Remedied and wounds to be Healed.
