Victory must be kept in the joy of the Lord as fish must be kept in water.
Simple Devotions Today
Whenever we cannot say, Praise the Lord, we are already defeated.
Oh! Let us all realize that our victory is in the joy of the Lord.
Whenever we lose that joy, we immediately lose the victory.
For the joy of the LORD is your strength. NEHEMIAH 8:10
How does the life which God has given us express itself?
The very air which our Lord Jesus Christ breathed was full of joy and praise.
I am still learning this lesson in these years.
I have been forgiven, I have consecrated myself, and I have been obedient; yet I feel somewhat miserable and I murmur a little.
I cannot say from the heart, Thanks and praise be to the Lord.
By and through the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ instead of me.
I am willing to carry out into my life whatever I find in the Scriptures.
I will do His will.
17 If anyone is willing to do His will, he will know of the teaching, whether it is of God or whether I speak from Myself.
It is not only thus in the kingdom of this world, but in the kingdom of heaven too, that a man is judged by his money, and yet on a different principle.
The world asks, what does a man own? Christ, how does he use it?
The world thinks more about the money getting; Christ about the money giving.
And when a man gives, the world still asks, what does he give? Christ asks, how does he give?
The world looks at the money and its amount, Christ at the man and his motive.
Money giving is a sure test of character.
As they were writing the Bible under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, they wrote according to a certain train of thought, but at the same time, their spirits were released along with the release of the Holy Spirit.
The world can never understand that behind the words of the Scriptures there is the Spirit.
When the Spirit is released, the prophets come alive, as it were, and speak to us once again.
The Bible contains not only thoughts but the release of the Spirit.
