Widow! Isolation!
Christians in the world! as any widow.
Meekest of all.
Offer no resistance of any kind.
Never seek for power and position in this world.
Be Humble and Lowly by Accepting the spite and harassment of this world and by refusing to claim anything according to right or law.
Be Ready!
Be Watchful! because we do not know the day nor the hour.
For if we knew, we would have no need to be Watchful.
Desire joins forces with our will to rebel against God’s Will.
Our innumerable desires create such confused feelings in us that we cannot quietly follow the Spirit.
They arouse our feelings and make for many turbulent experiences.
Not until the Cross has Performed Its Deeper Work and one’s desire has been Judged in the Light of the Cross can he Wholly Live In the Spirit and For God.
MARK 10.51

Love is the Greatest Thing of All, for Love is God-Like Above Everything!
He who has not died to worldly affection has not died to anything.
Death to natural affection proves one’s death to the world.
To covet and to lust after man’s affection demonstrates that the Christian has not yet died to self life.
His death to soul life is substantiated by his forsaking every affection other than that for God.
How Transcendent is a Spiritual Man!
He Walks Far Above human natural affection.
He who is Truly Watchful often feels he is not yet entirely ready.
He does not trust in his own self.
This is True Humility.
Shall we not Receive that which we Ask For BECAUSE of our Constant Prayer to God and BECAUSE of His Goodness?
