Filled With The Spirit
What is needed in order to Be Filled with the Spirit?
By special relation from God.
Mundane Tasks
If I am a housekeeper, I am busy from morning till night doing mundane tasks.
If I am a laborer in a factory, I hear the grinding sound of machines from dawn to dusk.
If I am an office worker, all I see the whole day are black ink on white papers.
If I am a house servant, what I do all day long is cleaning tables, sweeping floors and cooking meals.
How meaningless these things are!
How good it would be if I could go out and do the Lord’s work!
Many women consider being a wife who must take care of children and carry out endless household chores as highly uninteresting work.
How exciting if she be given freedom to go here and there to talk about spiritual things, things of the Lord.
Yet that is but the attraction of the flesh; it is NOT spiritual at all; it is wholly catering to self-delight.
Reckoning
Even after we take the Action and Maintain the Attitude of Reckoning our old man to be dead, the sinful nature in us does NOT henceforth become annihilated and disappear.
For as long as we live in this mortal body, the sinful natural will coexist with us.
To say that our sinful nature can be annihilated in this life is a great heresy.
We can Deliver the old man to Death by the Power of the Cross and render it powerless and withered as Though Dead, but we cannot annihilate it.
Whenever we are careless and unwatchful, whenever we do not Stand On the Death Ground of Calvary, our old man will renew its activities and resume its office.
Satan is always looking for an opportunity to reactive the old man.
And as soon as there is a loophole, the old man will recover its original position.
Pray
Some matters may only need to be Prayed once and the Burden for such is over and done with.
But other matters probably have to be Prayed three or five times before the various Burdens for them are Discharged.
Irrespective of the number of times, the Burden must be Discharged before Prayer on a particular item is ended.
The Principle is to Pray until the Burden is Lifted.
Like Little Children
Abiding in Him!
SO THAT the soul Draws Away from self
And Finds that He has Taken its Place and Become our Life.
It is Becoming Like Little Children
Who have no cares and Find their Happiness in Trusting and Obeying the Love that has Done Everything for them.
By the Life of the Creator
When the created being lives by his created life, he does not need to be very Dependent On God.
But for the created being to Live By the Life of the Creator, he has to be Wholly Dependent Because the Life he would Then Live By is not his But God’s.

Being Filled With The Spirit
Being Filled with the Spirit is simply this –
Having my whole nature Yielded to His Power.
When the whole soul is Yield to the Holy Spirit, God Himself Will Fill it.
