According to man’s view the world is becoming better and brighter, but According to the Word of God the night is far spent.
We are now in that dark night, and hence can Sense darkness all around.
If we Walk in the Light and Live Close to God by Abiding in Christ, Constantly Judging the works of the flesh and Obeying the Leading of the Holy Spirit, we will Most Naturally Perceive that this is truly a dark world.

Holy Spirit! Teach me
As an empty vessel
Wholly Consecrated Vessel
To Yield myself to Him as my Life.
Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes, and see the fields, that they are white to harvest already.
What they need is the Simple Faith that the Stablishing in Christ, day by day, is God’s Work – a Work that He Delights To Do, in spite of all our weakness and unfaithfulness, if we will but Trust Him For It.
Just their own efforts are the cause of their failure,
BECAUSE it is God Alone Who Can Establish us in Christ Jesus.
Satan has a work, which is attacking the Children of God.
His attack may not come suddenly; oftentimes, it comes gradually and slowly.
Satan has a plan against the Saints of the Most High, which is to wear them out.
The work of Satan is frequently not very noticeable, his work is slowly to wear them down.
A Christian can do neither evil nor good things.
For God Has Said: of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
Good and evil are linked together.
They together constitute one way to live, and the Inner Life constitutes another totally different way.
A Christian, therefore, Must Reject good as well as evil.
For there is a Standard Even Higher than good, and it is called the Criterion of Life.
