To Be Faithful
We dare not occupy ourselves with things too great and too marvelous for us.
Let us Learn instead to be Faithful Before God According to our Portion.
Many
Many are the things which God Wills to Do and would Like to Do, but His Hands are bound because His Children do not sympathize with Him and have not Prayed so as to Prepare Ways for Him.
Abide in Me
It was NOT that He said, Come to Me and Abide with Me, but, Abide in Me.
Unbroken, Most Intimate and Complete.
He Opened His Arms, to Press you to His Bosom; He Opened His Heart, to Welcome you There; He Opened Up All His Divine Fulness of Life and Love, and Offered to Take you Up Into Its Fellowship, to Make you Wholly One with Himself.
Knock
Knock! being Admitted to Dwell with Him and in Him.
Knocking and Opening of the Door to the Father’s Home and to His Love.
Seek
Seek! Looking for God Himself.
Christ Assures me that I can Find God.
But it is not enough to Find God in a time of need without also Coming Into an Abiding Fellowship with Him.
Ask Seek Knock
Believe with certainty that
Asking, Seeking, and Knocking will NOT be in vain.
Receiving an Answer, Finding God, the Opened Heart and Home of God, are Certain Fruit of Prayer.
Bought
All who have been BOUGHT with the Precious Blood of the Lamb are God’s.
We have been Purchased, and therefore we have no liberty.
Who may say from their hearts, God, I Belong to You, I am Your Bondslave?
