This is even deeper than denying the self.

Taking Up the Cross is Obeying God.

To Accept whatever God Has Decided for the person and to be Willing to Suffer According to the Will of God.

By Denying self and Taking Up the Cross we may Truly Follow the Lord.

It is either of the two.

There is no choice for us; we must either Deny self or Deny Christ.

There are two great powers fighting each other – the self-nature in the power of sin and Christ in the Power of God.

Either of these must rule within us.

Setting Aside of the self in Seeking the Mind of God, so that in all things he may NOT follow his own mind nor be self-centered.

Promises of God are Revealed to us by His Spirit that we may Lay Hold of Them.

Ask and Keep On Asking

Ask and Keep On Asking! for the Lord Delights in people Asking Him.

If the motive of our Asking is Pure, there is nothing better.

What God is Doing

What God is Doing

Who Watches Over Every hindrance and danger, Who Supplies Every needed aid!

What Peace and Rest, Fully and Finally to Give Up our Abiding Into the Care of God, and never have a wish or thought, never to offer a Prayer or engage in an exercise connected with it, without First Having the Glad Remembrance that what we do is only the Manifestation of What God is Doing in us!
