The difference between the Ministry of the Word in the New Testament and the Ministry of the Lord Jesus is as follows.
In the Lord Jesus it is the Word become flesh, that is, first the Word, then the flesh to fit the Word. His consciousness, feelings, and thoughts are harmonious with God’s Word.
However, in the New Testament Ministry of the Word we have the flesh first; in order to make it a Ministry of the Word, this flesh must be transformed according to the requirements of God’s Word. The feeling, thought, and idea of the flesh must undergo a change that it may be suitable to God’s Word.
