If we Obey God Persistently, we will See Continuously.
Greatly Treasure The Word
Should we not, then, if this is to be its Blessed Effect, Greatly Treasure the Word that God Speaks to us today?
Affliction
Dear Christian!
In Affliction Abide in Christ.
When you See It Coming, Meet It in Christ;
When it is Come, feel that you are More in Christ than in It, for He is Nearer you than Affliction ever can be;
When It is Passing, Still Abide in Him.
Prepare
The Surrender of self and self-will in Suffering will Prepare you to Sympathize with the misery of others, while the Softening that comes of Chastisement will Fit you for Becoming as Jesus Was, the Servant of all.
Prayer
Prayer! What do I really want?
Prayer! Am I Asking for it in Faith, Expecting to Receive an Answer?
Prayer! Am I ready to place the thing in the Father’s Keeping and Leave it There?
Prayer! Is it Settled between God and me that I will Receive an Answer?
Minutest
God Notices the minutest detail, therefore He is the Greatest.
There is nothing in our life too minute for God’s Care and Concern.
God has not forgotten.
