Be Filled with the Spirit.
Have you Obeyed that Command?
Is that the life you are living?
If not, why not?
Are you Willing to Take Up That Command and to Say
By God’s Help, I am going to Obey. I will not give myself any rest until I have Obeyed That Command, until I am Filled with the Spirit?
Why do they do all these things?
The issue is whether or not the Lord is the Greatest Consideration in their heart.
Let us not allow our Prayer to jump about like a grasshopper: hopping to another matter before the first one is Thoroughly Prayed Through.
I am Indeed a Branch to Jesus, the True Vine,
Abiding in Him, Resting on Him, Waiting for Him, Serving Him,
And Living Only that Through me, too, He may Show Forth the Riches of His Grace, and Give His Fruit to a perishing world.
Jesus is Indeed to me the True Vine,
Bearing me, Nourishing me, Supplying me, Using me, and Filling me to the Full
To Make me Bring Forth Fruit Abundantly.
But that He did not choose to live by Himself.
The worthlessness of natural human effort apart from God.
Apart from Me ye can do nothing.
As our Faith Grows Into Obedience,
Our Whole Being Clings to Christ in Love.
Our Inner Life Opens Up
And the Capacity is Formed Within us
To Receive the Life and Spirit of the Glorified Jesus.
Oh, to Worship Before God is True Worship,
To Commune with God is True Communion,
And to Rejoice in God’s Presence is True Joy.
But once he Experienced the Lord’s Appearance, he Become Aware of the Preciousness of the Presence of the Lord Over and Above all other things.
