My Father Knows
My Father Knows I need what I ask.
If there is any delay in the answer, it will Teach us to Hold On in Quiet Perseverance.
Jesus
Jesus, Surety, Keeper, Ever-Living Saviour, in Whose Life I Dwell, I Abide in Thee.
O, Thou Great High Priest, in the Power of an Endless, Unchangeable Life, I Abide in Thee.
Hear Him
This is My Son, the Beloved, Hear Him.
The Way of the Kingdom is that the Beloved Son Speaks to me personally and directly, and that personally and directly I Hear Him.
Obey
Only Christians can obey, and they must learn to obey – not outwardly, but from the heart.
Yet once this lesson of obedience has been learned, the Christian will look for and find authority everywhere.
Heart
The heart is of exceeding importance, for it is our real self.
What our heart is is what we really are.
It is the source of life.
It includes the conscience of the spirit and the mind of the soul.
We Commune with God by the spirit, but what God Looks at is our heart.
It is the most essential factor in our lives.
We say we are Saved: but how are we saved after all?
It is when we Believe in our heart.
How are we now Serving God?
It is Serving God with the heart.
Whom does God Bless?
Those who are Upright in heart.
What shall be judged in the future?
God will Judge the hidden things in the heart of man.
For this reason, we must have a good heart when we come near to God.
Branch
What a simple thing it is to be the branch of a tree or the branch of a vine!
The branch grows out of the vine or out of the tree, and there it lives and grows and, in due time, bears fruit.
It has no responsibility except just to receive from the root and stem sap and nourishment.
And if we only Knew by the Holy Spirit our Relationship to Jesus Christ, our life would be Changed into the Brightest and Most Heavenly Thing upon earth.
