Faith
Faith is the Ceasing from All nature’s efforts, and All other dependence;
Faith is Confessed Helplessness Casting itself Upon God’s Promise, and Claiming Its Fulfilment;
Faith is the Putting ourselves Quietly Into God’s Hands for Him to Do His Work.
Experience
Faith is how people Believe in God, Trusting in His Work and Redemption, and Drawing Upon His Promises.
Faith is a Working Attitude and a Process which Translates God’s Fact into man’s Experience.
Experience is Living a Believer’s normal life Through Faith in God.
It is Expressing the Life of Christ in the Believer’s Daily Walk.
It is Proving the Success and Victory of Christ By Demonstrating Practically the Fact of God.
Take Up His Cross and Follow Me
Take Up His Cross and Follow Me!
This is even deeper than denying the self.
Taking Up the Cross is Obeying God.
To Accept whatever God Has Decided for the person and to be Willing to Suffer According to the Will of God.
By Denying self and Taking Up the Cross we may Truly Follow the Lord.
Deny
Deny self. Deny Me.
It is either of the two.
There is no choice for us; we must either Deny self or Deny Christ.
There are two great powers fighting each other – the self-nature in the power of sin and Christ in the Power of God.
Either of these must rule within us.
